Be Ryong to Begin Offering Online Classes Starting March 30

Since the Governor of VA has closed all gyms, Be Ryong remains physically closed. But Master Yun and the other instructors will begin online classes starting Monday, March 30.

Master Yun and the other instructors will use Zoom to lead students in a warmup, and then demonstrate the normal kicking, form and breaking techniques. The instructors will also ask the students to show their own forms and kicks so that the instructors can give them feedback.

On Monday, March 30, Master Yun and Trulyn will hold an all-belt class at 5pm. Be sure to watch out for your Zoom invitation. Thereafter, Be Ryong will hold online classes according to the schedule below. If you have questions, as always, you may call the studio at (703) 535-3334.

While this is not an ideal situation, we’re committed to you, our students. We know that the martial arts are important to you, and you and your families are probably going stir crazy. So let the whole family join the classes, get a good workout, and learn some martial arts in the process.

See you online! Be safe!

Be Ryong Closed from March 16-28

Out of an abundance of caution Master Yun will be closing the studio March 16 – March 28 to help keep us safe from COVID-19 (Coronavirus) exposure.

Master Yun will re-evaluate the situation over the next week to determine whether to re-open the studio, or stay closed for another week.

The safety and health of our students, instructors, master, and our families is at the heart of this decision.

Please also know that on March 8 and March 15, instructors and students helped Master Yun do a thorough sanitizing of the studio. In addition, during the week, instructors wiped down commonly touched areas, checked for sickness among the students, and asked all student to wash their hands upon entering the studio.

Thanks for your understanding.

Master Yun reminds everyone to keep working out and practicing your forms and techniques at home.
